Central Processing

The central processing station (CPS) is the host computer platform for the Airport Weather Advisor® system and acts as the hub for communications, networking, reporting, and security.

The CPS consists of a host computer, operator terminal, voice processor, telephony processor, GRTA transmitter, wireline or wireless modem, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for battery backup.
