Fort Benton Airport AWOS IIIPT Installation Enhances Flight Operations in Montana

Fort Benton, Montana (December 1st, 2023) – Fort Benton Airport (K79S) in Fort Benton, Montana now has the latest aviation weather technology, a Mesotech Airport Weather Advisor Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) IIIPT. This significant upgrade, commissioned by the FAA on December 1st, 2023 was installed and commissioned by Mesotech International, Inc. The project engineering was performed by Robert Peccia & Associates and the prime contractor was South Hills Electric.
